Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFMCP) & Consultant, Expert Nutritionist & Master Herbalist

Carolina is a leading fully certified Functional Medicine practitioner using a systems and science-based approach involving nutrition, genetics, herbal, endobiogenic and orthomolecular medicine to help patients address the underlying causes of their health concerns. She runs her own clinic, Anthrobotanica in London and works as a consultant clinician for the Holistic Heart Centers of America.

Entrepreneur and co-founder of Adaptogenica, Carolina helps companies develop viable and profitable products and services in the natural health and hospitality sectors, inclusive of botanical products, herbal medicine, genetics, nutrition, supplements and functional foods. She also designs innovative corporate wellness programmes, professional training offerings, seminars and workshops.  

Her education background focused initially in Modern Languages and Law and she started her career in Emerging Markets in investment banking and consulting, working at Deutsche Bank, Google and at Monitor in Paris, before she decided to leave the corporate environment and retrain in the field of wellness, having experienced first-hand the effects of a high-stress environment on the body. 

Her main clinical focus is on optimising performance and the management and prevention of chronic diseases and complex conditions, especially those driven by stress and particularly cancer, autoimmune disease, cardiometabolic risk and other chronic conditions.

She is a member of IDDNA’s scientific advisory board.  IDDNA is an exciting  allows her to deliver a highly tailored protocol based on genomics and precision medicine.

Carolina is a highly qualified Nutritional Therapist, Master Herbalist and Naturopath.  She is one of the only IFMCPs (certified functional medicine practitioner) in the world with both herbal medicine and nutrition.  She is also trained in NLP, Hypnotherapy, Ear Acupuncture, Heartmath (HRV and Biofeedback), Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Iridology, Bach Flower therapy and is currently completing a fellowship in Endobiogenic Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago.

Carolina is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT), the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and sits on the council of the Association of Master Herbalists (AMH). 

Carolina works internationally and is currently based in London.
